About the event

Get ready to get your hands dirty at our Hands-On Hypertufa Workshop! Hosted by fellow garden club members, this small-group session is the perfect way to craft your own rustic, custom garden container.
But what exactly is hypertufa? It is a lightweight, porous mix of Portland cement, peat moss, and perlite. Mimicking natural volcanic rock, it breathes beautifully, retains moisture, and provides excellent drainage—making it the ultimate home for succulents, alpine plants, and rock garden favorites.
In this casual workshop, our members will guide you step-by-step through mixing the materials and packing the molds. You will leave with your very own unique, weather-hardy planter and the skills to make more at home.
Space is strictly limited to ensure everyone gets personal guidance. Grab your old clothes and gloves, and secure your spot today!
