The Sudbury Garden Club was founded in 1931 and federated in 1935. Its  officers and members are dedicated to carrying on its tradition of community service.

The Club strives to promote a greater interest in gardening, protecting birds, native plants and other natural resources, and encouraging civic planting and preservation of civic beauty.

 

Bringing in Tender Plants

 If you have tender plants that have been outside, enjoying the summer weather, you don’t have to bring them in all at the same time.  Outside temperatures can determine when to bring them in.

 45 degrees:  Banana Musa hybrids; Begonia hybrids; Boston Fern; Coleus; Cordyline  hybrids

35 degrees:  Colebrachoa; Flowering Maple; Geranium; Lantana; Oxalis

25 degrees:  Fig; Nemisia; Osterspermum; Snapdragon; Twinspell Deascia integemima
